Step 2: Preparing the teeth
For a porcelain veneer, we remove a thin layer of enamel to make room for the veneer. For a composite veneer this is often not necessary.
Step 3: Applying the veneer
At a follow-up visit we apply the veneer. For composite veneers this happens directly in the dental chair, with the dentist shaping the material and curing it with light. Porcelain veneers are made in our laboratory and fitted at a second appointment.
